Plan of Action

Upon our return, the following will take place:

• Members of the SEIR-TEC leadership team will meet with the Morgan County technology coordinator as soon as possible upon return to Wartburg.

• Judy Cross will inform TC that Edd and Myrna will contact the superintendent regarding the leadership academy.

• Establish a Morgan County teachers’ listserv by the beginning of the 1999-2000 school year.

• Team member Myrna Sumner will make initial contact with appropriate personnel in regards to getting the listserv online.

• SEIR-TEC team member Regina Headden will create forms to sign up teachers for the listserv at the all county in-service on August 10. She will find a contact at each school in the county who will also help sign up teachers for the listserv.

• SEIR-TEC team members will take the initiative with the listserv by making daily contributions of best educational web sites, successful lesson plans, and messages of encouragement.

• SEIR-TEC leadership team will continue to work together as a group and will act in an advisory position with the Morgan County technology planning committee.

• SEIR-TEC leadership team members will use email to make contact with teachers and administrators within the district to pass along educational and technological information.

• SEIR-TEC leadership team member Edd Diden will contact Morgan County Superintendent of Schools to be placed on the agenda of the next principals’ meeting to share information learned at the SEIR-TEC Leadership Academy.
