Educator Growth and Assessment

Within the area of educator growth and assessment, SERVE has developed a series of personnel evaluations that capture the job expectations of teachers and principals in standards-based assessment matrices. The process itself is job-embedded and supports opportunities for growth as well as accountability for performance. Supervisors can develop accurate personnel evaluations to use in making human resource decisions while teachers and principals can develop realistic growth goals. In support of the development of quality educators, SERVE is designing mentorship programs for both teachers and administrators.

Teacher Growth and Assessment

SERVE created a comprehensive loop of administrator and peer feedback to target improvement in teacher practice. When attached to school and district goals, expectations for performance can be the driving force behind school improvement.

Beginning Teacher Growth and Assessment

With the support and feedback from veteran colleagues, first- and second-year teachers can meet crucial performance expectations while developing a sense of teaching efficacy so essential to retaining strong professionals.
