Key U.S. Department of Education officials and other national experts will meet with invited education leaders, policy makers, and stakeholders from across the Appalachia, Mid- Atlantic, and Southeast regions at a forum convening on March 30, 2010 at the Doubletree Crystal City Hotel in the Washington, DC/Northern Virginia area.
The purpose of this meeting is to afford Appalachia, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast state education officials, local education agencies and community leaders an opportunity to engage top officials from the U.S. Department of Education in preparation for grant submissions and the implementation of ARRA funds, previously applied for or received.
