Edward Bloor was born in 1950 in Trenton, New Jersey. In 1973, Bloor finished his education at Fordham University. When Bloor was twenty-three years olds, he married his wife, Pamela who is a teacher. They then had two children, a boy and one girl. He is a former middle and high school teacher. Bloor is not a full time writer at this time. He works for a publishing company in Orlando, Florida. His office building is glass, and he has a great view of Sea World.

Bloor only has only written two books, Tangerine and Crusader. Tangerine touches on environmental and social issues. It is based in a town in Florida.
