Billy Graham was born on November 7th, 1918, and was raised on a dairy farm in Charlotte, North Carolina. His family called him Billy Frank. When he was fifteen, the summer of 1935, Billy accepted Christ through the ministry of Mordecai Ham, a traveling evangelist. In 1940, the Southern Baptist Convention awarded him a theology degree from Florida Bible Institute. Three years later he graduated from Wheaton College in Illinois. He married Ruth McCue Bell, the daughter of a missionary surgeon in China. Billy Graham and his wife built their home in Montreat, North Carolina, the mountain town in which they had been married a few years earlier.
Graham is known throughout the world as a powerful evangelist. He has preached from Africa to Nagaland. He has traveled all around the world and preached. Billy Graham also writes inspirational non-fiction. Graham has more world-wide readers and has sold more books than any other North Carolina writer. The following titles are the titles of some of the books he has written: My Answer, World Aflame, The Challenge, The Jesus Generation, Peace With God, Angels: God's Secret Agents, and many, many more! I haven't read any of the books that he has written, but I think they would be interesting. I know he has helped many people and touched many lives; maybe one of them was you!
