Reading and Literacy

Stepping Stones to Literacy

Stepping Stones to Literacy is a new online resource for early childhood professionals. It is intended to provide early childhood professionals with research-based information on early literacy learning and child development. It is geared primarily toward early childhood practitioners and students working toward an early childhood credential. Stepping Stones consists of a series of brief articles on a variety of topics related to early literacy and child development. Each article offers clear, useful information and includes suggestions for applying the information in the classroom. There is also a list of related resources and readings for those who want more in-depth information.
